Cooper Voice Studio Official Mascot
SADIE

Sadie arrived at the Cooper Voice Studio as a foster pup in November 2020, when all voice lessons were online due to the pandemic.
This 35-pound then-four-year-old female terrier/beagle mutt snuggled her way into my heart and was officially adopted in January 2021.
Since then, she has brought smiles, comfort, and laughter to me and everyone who meets her, especially in the studio.

Once the world began to re-open and in-person lessons resumed, I crossed fingers that Sadie would remain comfortable in her new home amid the warbling, shimmering, floating, piercing, resonating sounds of the studio spanning classical, musical theatre, and pop genres.

Good news!  She adores my students.  They adore her.  And she remains un-phased by the beautiful cacophony of our world.

Sadie (im)patiently awaits the arrival of students...

Sadie accepts all belly rubs, per request...

After a proper enthusiastic greeting, Sadie spends Voice Lessons snoozing...

Sadie assists with administrative responsibilities as her in-kind contribution for rent, food, and lots of treats...

Sadie snuggles with the CEO at the end of the day to remind them both to rest and smile...

Sadie wishes to remind everyone to get out and find inspiration through play and silliness!...

NOTE RE. ALLERGY CONCERNS:
Thus far, Sadie's presence has posed no issue to students with mild animal allergies. Out of an abundance of caution, when such students arrive, I distract Sadie with treats while the student settles in, and Sadie typically naps at an appropriate distance or in a separate room. Dozens of students have crossed the studio threshold and, fortunately(!), none have experienced any allergic reaction to Sadie.
